Happy anniversary Sabina and Sean!

When Sabina contacted us by email two years ago from Norway, she mentioned that the wedding was an indian-persian one.
In my reply i wrote to her that "i could ... kill to photograph a wedding like that!"

Finally, the 19th of August last year i met both Sabina and Sean and i was with them from 11 am till 02 am the next morning.
Not only the wedding couple was so beutifull and full of happiness, the party during and after the reception was just amazing!

In her email Sabina has thanked us so much for all the effort, the endeavour, the wonderful slideshow, and all the photos "that mean so much to me!" .

Camilla and Anders

Last Saturday got Camilla married with her prince, at the small private bridge for the boats, near their home.

The photographing of the couple took place near their home while the reception was held at the gardens at the couple's home.

The best "payment"...

Today i came back to Stockholm from a 3-day trip to Göteborg with the family, just to find 2 very special messages waiting for us.

Both of them had to do with two different weddings we photographed some weeks ago.

The first was en email from the United States, sent by the father of the bride.
The second was a card from the couple themselves.

Here are the texts of the two messages:

"Hello, Georgios and Mia!
... Catherine and I are starting to view the first group of your photos sent to us by Joanna and Manne. They are fantastic! I think you have a great talent to capture not only the subjects but also the people around the subjects, to really give a true feel of the moment.
It was a pleasure to witness your work and, it is a thrill to view the fruits of your labor. Thank you for helping to make the magical day last forever. ...

It was in a beautiful white '67 Rolls that Cornelia and Johan strolled around in the small streets of Stockholm's Gamla Stan, after their wedding ceremony at the Tyska kyrkan.

The reception was held at the Görvälns Slott.

Helena and Klas tied the knott a week ago at Malsta kyrka, outside Norrtälje.
The reception was held at Gräddö.

"Skärgårdskänla"

Some weeks ago i photographed a bride-to-be near Vaxholm, late one evening.
The weather was warm and beautifull and the model was in a great mood. We were there untill the sun set.

I am just so sorry i can't use any of the rest of the pictures we took that day because she wished to be anonymous.

"Thank you XXX for not stopping smiling all evening, not for a single second! You were great!"

Yesterday we had a typical swedish summer day; going from rain to a wonderfull sunshine, then to a cloudy weather and then to rain again, over and over...

This was not enough though to destroy the mood of the new wedds! On the contrary!

Today i met Aneta and Micke to discuss with them some details for their photo session on Sunday.

Great people who are going to have their 5 year old son with them.
They said that the little guy loves to play with water and to wrestle with mom and dad!

It's gonna be great fun on Sunday!

Blue was the colour theme that the couple had chosen for their wedding day. And although the weather had not been grate the previous days, it was a grate summer day yesterday!



During the ceremony many eyes became wet, and they were not only of those who attended as guests...

One of the most sought after wedding dates of the year (if not THE most sought after) was, unfortunately, not blessed with a nice weather!
The rain poured almost all day long and changed a little our plans for photos with a sense of living in the big city.
It gave though a very beatifull light for taking photos!

The just married couple shone from hapiness while the bride looked just gorgeous in her wedding-dress!

Ann and Fredrik's wedding day.

Our very best friends, Ann och Fredrik, got married some weeks ago.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Mörkö church, near Södertälje, and after the wedding we went on with portrait pictures in Trosa, near Boman's hotel, where the couple would have the reception for their closest and where they would spend the night.

The americans invade Bern's!

The bride left the United States and came to Sweden to live with the chosen of her heart.

They got married the 30th of June and the whole day was magical!








The reception was held at Bern's, where the guests, and especially the dozens of the americans who traveled to Stockholm to attend the wedding, were astounded by the atmosphere of the reception hall.
The party was held untill early in the morning and was wild.
Needless to describe what happened when the music band of 8 started playing the song "living in America"!






By the way, the bride's sister was the lucky one (she looked definetely like the most determined!) who caught the bride's flower bouquet!

Our travel photos from Istanbul, in "Vagabond" 4/2007

Finally we got to see our pictures from our trip to Konstantinoupolis (Istanbul for all those who can not speak greek!), in Turkey, in the swedish travel magasine "Vagabond"!

To be honest, we had already an idea of how it would look like, when the art direktor of the magasine sent us a pdf file with the article, a coupe of months ago. But it's a different feeling when one can see the photos printed on the glossy paper of one of the biggest travel magasines in Sweden!

Even more interesting was to see once more, which pictures the art direktor had chosen from the dosens we had sent to the magasine. Especially the first one that covered 2 whole pages of the 8 that the whole article covered.
